Jalapeno Popper Air Fryer Wontons

September 4, 2022 Amanda Plott

Sometimes you just need a new sort of side dish or snack, or even to take an old favorite and mesh it together with another to come up with something new and different. That’s where these Jalapeno Popper Air Fryer Wontons came in. I decided to keep it simple one night this week with a spiced up homemade tomato soup, and wanted something fun and exciting to pair with it.

My first thought was jalapeño poppers, but I wanted something that I could dip into the soup too if I wanted, sort of how you do with tomato soup and grilled cheese or crackers! So, I settled on these Jalapeno Popper Air Fryer Wontons which are basically jalapeño poppers inside a wonton wrapper to make them perfect for dipping and dunking!…

Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookie

August 11, 2022 Amanda Plott

Once again I find myself wanting something I’m not willing to turn the oven on for, so I decided to try my hand at making cookies in the air fryer. Can it be done? As it turns out - it totally can! But I decided I would make one BIG cookie instead of several little ones. Mostly for ease since I have a perfectly sized push pan that fits into the basket of my air fryer just barely.

This Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookie is super easy to make, and let me just say that it’s soooo good too. The air fryer gives it a unique texture that is gooey here and crisp there. And this cookie is LOADED with chocolate chip goodness. And when I say loaded, I mean completely full to the point that if you don’t like a lot of chocolate then you should consider having the chocolate chips…

Air Fryer Pizza Taquitos

August 2, 2022 Amanda Plott

It’s the end of Summer and it’s H.O.T. HOT. I think the heat of the Summer has hit just about everyone this year. It’s been a doozy. That being said, I’m in kitchen cool down mode and trying to use my stove and oven as little as humanly possibly. So, that means it’s time to bust out the air fryer and the pressure cooker more! These are super easy to make and require very few ingredients. Plus, they only take a few minutes to cook up in the air fryer.

They come out perfectly crisp and cheesy and ready for dipping into your favorite pizza sauce. These are great all on their own as a snack or appetizer, but they’re also good on their own as a sub in for pizza night when served along with a side salad!…

Air-Fryer Homemade Pizza Rolls

June 30, 2022 Amanda Plott

Homemade pizza rolls? Uhm, yes please! When I was a kid, one of my favorite things was pizza rolls. I mean, who doesn’t like little popable bites of pizza goodness? With deciding to have a ‘snack’ food dinner this week, I thought I’d try my hand at making some pizza rolls in the air-fryer. Not just any pizza rolls though, homemade ones!

These Air-Fryer Homemade Pizza Rolls are DELISH and even better than their frozen pre-made brethren. And the best part is that you get to decide what goes into them. Today I went with pepperoni and cheese, simple enough, but you could definitely go with sausage, or any other sort of cheese or meat that you like on your pizza. Veggies are another option too!…

Air-Fried Veggie Nuggets

May 16, 2022 Amanda Plott

It’s no secret that I do my best to eat as many vegetable and even vegetarian dishes as possible. Of course this isn’t an entirely vegetarian house, but I like to limit red meat to once a week and have at least two vegetarian dinners too. Over the past few years there’s been an enormous shift in the meatless section at the grocery store and now there are just limitless options to make it so easy to go meat free even if it’s just for one night.

That being said, you do have to be careful with some of those things. Sure they might be meatless, but that sometimes means that they’re loaded up with tons of fake nothingness as ingredients. These Air-Fried Veggie Nuggets are not only meatless and vegetarian, they’re also vegan and made with simple pantry and fridge staples that you likely already have on hand!…

Garlic Parmesan Air Fried Chickpeas

February 18, 2022 Amanda Plott

Looking for a tasty sticky-snack that’s quick and easy to make? Well, look no further. These Garlic Parmesan Air Fried Chickpeas are perfect to have on hand. They’re gluten free and vegetarian too! Plus they take hardly any effort to make and have a big bold POP of flavor. The air fryer perfectly cooks them up so that they’re just a little soft on the inside and have a crispy cheese crunch on the outside.

For these Garlic Parmesan Air Fried Chickpeas, I used my own homemade seasoning blend and some parmesan cheese. Yep, really that’s all you need to make these other than a little bit of oil. Just 4 ingredients to a healthy snack that anyone can enjoy…
