Pineapple upside-down cake is one of my favorites, and in keeping with the Hawaiian and pineapple theme of the week, I thought a fun Hawaiian themed take on monkey bread would be perfect! This week treat is relatively easy to make and tastes just like the cake. One of the best parts, is that with it being monkey bread, you automatically have an excuse to eat it for breakfast or brunch!

Long story short, there was a trip being planned to Hawaii that I would currently be on. But, then this virus took over the world. So. The trip to Hawaii didn’t happen this summer! PBJ Banana Bread

Move over plain jane banana bread! There’s a new banana bread in town, and it goes by PBJ. That’s right, this banana bread is made with creamy peanut butter, crunchy peanuts, and a swirl of strawberry jam. It’s like banana bread and a PBJ had a baby! Who says you can’t have a PBJ for breakfast?

For being loaded up with all the PBJ favorites, this banana bread is made better-for-you in the best of ways! All of the sugar has been subbed out for natural sweetener, and half of the oil was swapped for an unsweetened apple sauce. Don’t worry though! Even with those minor adjustments, this bread turns out a-mazing!…

French Bread

I’ve been doing a lot of baking lately. Especially now that I got ALL NEW appliances in my kitchen finally! I’ve been waiting to do it for years and years now and I finally was able to do so. Between that, limiting trips to the store, and having my hands on a handy-dandy bread maker, I’ve been a bread making fool!

This French Bread is simple. It’s as standard as bread comes and is made with just a handful of pantry staple ingredients. Flour, oil, salt, sugar, yeast, that’s pretty much all there is to it. I have to say, even if you don’t have a bread machine, this bread is still pretty easy to make and will easily rival any fresh bakery bread…

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Banana Bread

This banana bread is jazzed up with cinnamon and sugar and topped off with a crispy crunchy crumb that is out of this world delicious - if I do say so myself. The idea for this banana bread is actually based on the cinnamon toast cereal that we all know and love. I’ve had a box stocked away in my pantry for some time now since my daughter suddenly decided after a week of eating it that she now doesn’t like it.

So, what do you do to use up cereal? You use it in a crumb topping for banana bread, of course! And let me just say, this banana bread is the perfect combination of the two. A tasty banana bread and cinnamon cereal all in one bite together. The best of both worlds!…
